The Blue Jays take on the Nationals this afternoon at 1:35 P.M but the big news comes from the Jays starting pitcher which will be Alek Manoah.

Manoah will be making his first start of the season in the Majors after starting the season in Triple-A on a rehab stint.

Fans are excited to see how Manoah will do in his first start of the season but there is also some serious doubt from fans after how last year. went.

Manoah starting is fun because it's either going to go great or be the worst start you've ever seen. And honestly, the way this year is going, why not?

The questioning behind Manoah is directly linked to the pitcher's inconsistency which has be a big problem for him even during his rehab stint. During his last outing in Triple-A Manoah had a great game allowing 2 hits and 1 run in 6 innings pitched while striking out 12 batters. However, the game before that, Manoah only pitched 3 innings giving up 7 hits and 6 runs which 2 were homers.

It will be interesting to see how he does in his first game this year against Major league batters but one thing is for certain, fans have a right to be questioning his game.
